Jason wears a few teacher hats at The Orion School! He is the co-director of Club Orion after school and our recreational enrichment teacher. He brings his enthusiasm and commitment to inspire Orion students to engage in the process of learning in all areas of development.
Jason has experience leading groups in a variety of recreational programs throughout Atlanta; including Outdoor Rec. Adventures (with Chris Zelski), Sensations Therafun, and Learning on the Log. He has worked with numerous programs and schools directing movement and sensory-based sports and recreational programs for children with neurobehavioral challenges.
Jason leads the sport and recreational activities for Club Orion after school as well as collaborating with Matt Carden during the school day on Orion’s team building and sport skill program. Jason shares his expertise and love for yoga to help our students learn the basic poses as well as strategies for self regulation, self awareness and relaxation. He is also the coach for the Orion School’s free Saturday Sport program which offers successful team experiences for any child in the community who can benefit from a more supportive team experience than more traditional programs offer.
